New York East River Helicopter Crash

Reports have entered in that a helicopter has crashed in the East River after having taken off from 34th Street. The helicopter has been reported to have been carrying five people, including the one pilot and four passengers.

 The information which has been released until now states that the tree passengers and one pilot have been brought to shore and that the helicopter has fully submerged. Search parties, according to ABC News, were still looking for one more female passenger as of forty minutes ago.

 The passengers were British tourists and the pilot has been “identified as Paul Dudley.” The helicopter went down about 3:20 p.m., with rescue divers arriving 10 minutes later in search for any survivors. Victims of the crash have reportedly been taken to Bellvue Hospital.
