Today (September 7th), Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony launched their own clothing line at the American retailer, Kohls, in Jersey City, NJ. Adopting the names, the Marc Anthony Collection and the Jennifer Lopez Collection, this new business venture is just one of many in the works between the former love-birds.
Despite having announced their separation in July of this year, the pair has shown an impressive ability to keep personal and business interests very separate. In addition to this fashion launching at Kohls, J-Lo and Marc are also working on their television show, “Q’Viva! The Chosen.” This show, which seeks to find talented vocalists from Latin America and turn them into stars in America, will follow the American talent show model, while also appealing to the growing market of Latin American television viewers in the US.
Despite the painful end of their seven year marriage, J-Lo and Marc are true New Yorkers, demonstrating in a substantive way that not even a divorce can get in the way of business.
